Self portraits are part of an artist’s narcissistic catalogue of self indulgence. Now self indulgence is part of our daily lives. We hate ourselves so much, we constantly show images of how much we wish we loved ourselves.
I’ve had a bad habit of taking photos of myself since I picked up my first camera. Why would someone who hates themselves so much always take so many selfies?
